Okay here you can give your thoughts about the new James Cameron movie. Please mention in your subject line if your reply or review contains spoilers or not. Enjoy
The film lady in my daily newspaper gives three maybe four movies per year a 4 out of 4 stars rating. She said the story won't win any awards but that the visuals are unlike anything you've ever seen and the film is the technical masterpiece they announced. She gave it four stars after all.
Seeing it on Saturday, I'll get back at you then

I mean, it was disconcerting to see it. I couldn't rid myself of the perception of flat-screen, and so it was like seeing in two different perspectives at once. I had a headache by the end. It was... I don't know how to put it. But I kept having to sort out these two differing depth perceptions (or whatever the actual term for this is), and it was a strain throughout.
However, it was beautiful, with great world building. And Sigourney Weaver is hot. Always. Forever. Even when they use her character's first name more than her last so we forget she has one. And kill her off for no reason.
Did anyone make the "Mine's bigger" joke (it was funny!) when Sully showed up with the big birdy thing?
Anyway, I'm not going to spend everyone's time whining about faux political correctness. Pretty movie!

Avatar is basically Return of the Jedi, at least the part on Endor. But less militarily plausible

Predictable with a tired & preachy plot. (spoilers) Also, the ending was completely ludicrous.

A rebuttal! For the points I disagree with, anyway.
