Ben teaching Euro history? That's hilarious. I also love Sawyer's bottomless knowledge of literature, even if there may well have been many other more closely connected betrayal references to cite for the scene than 'Of Mice and Men'.


I don't know that Sawyer has a bottomless knowledge of literature. He read Of Mice and Men at least once (in prison), and he and Ben discussed it a bit while on the smaller island in season 3. The book probably just has some deep significance for Sawyer.
