There were a few different things I hoped for, but didn't really expect
- I don't deny that Up was great, but I still wanted Coraline to beat it
- I did want Bigelow to take director (she deserved it, plus it's just too good having her win over James Cameron), but I wanted Basterds to take best picture, and/or best original screenplay.)
- I was hoping for Kendrick to win best supporting actress too
I didn't feel like anyone really got robbed; all the winners seem solid, even if I never plan on watching Precious or Blind Side.

Agreed. I had previously passed it off as just another war film. *NM*

You seem "surprised" by some things that were not surprises.

For an entertainment admin, you sure are narrow-minded about some quality films out there.

I can't like nor care about everything. Neither do you, IIRC.
