sCharlie connected with iCharlie after a near fatal accident.


His drowning in self-sacrifice to warn the others about the boat.

sDesmond connected with iDesmond after being scared witless by the elecromagnetic machine


Actually, we saw him semi-connect while saving Charlie from drowning and seing the name Penelope.

sDaniel connected with iDaniel after seeing Charlotte.


His lost i-love who died in his arms.

Same for Hurley-Libby - the kiss was one of their strongest moments together.

And so on...

I think sLocke will be taken to the only hospital in all of LAland(LOL) and Jack will somehow fix him and then the emotions of that will connect sLocke to iLocke.

Different degrees of emotions are needed for different people. A look. A touch. A car accident.


Assuming Jack is involved, your hypothesis lacks a strong connection between i-Jack and i-Locke from a scene in an earlier season.

Interestingly, the strongest moments of emotions between Jack and Locke are all fairly negative, unlike the Desmond-Charlie, Libby-Hurley, Daniel/Charlotte moments. On the whole, Jack and Locke have been fairly antagonistic to one another.
