What's your (viable) preferred alternative? Were it up to me, RJ would still be writing WoT books and we'd still be arguing on the wotmania WoTMB about which Forsaken is strongest (it's Demandred, btw ) but sometimes you take what you can get and are grateful for it. Sanderson's an established writer in his own right, with his own style and technique just as personalized as Jordans, so however much he tried he was never going to be a Jordan clone. As long as the writing is still good and true to Jordans narrative, it may take some adjustment, but it will be worth the effort.
