If any of us WoT fans are also Terry Goodkind fans, we already know that if they made it a TV series it would be all but ruined. The show Legend of the Seeker was based on The Sword of Truth series, and after about 3 episodes the story was all but unrecognizable, they had changed the character's relationships to one another, took some major plot points, and then rewrote the whole story. And I am guilty of being one of the people who originally wanted the show to be a series, thinking it would be easier to film 10 seasons of a show than 10 massive novels. I was wrong, and it was a disappointment. I would hate to see the same thing happen to WoT. It's too good of a story.
