I may be wrong about Aginor's 1st death. Honestly, I've got a flu right now, so I'd need to have the book in hand to remember properly.
We disagree on several other points. Semi's death didn't feel particularly *incompetent*. She'd been broken, and so went on a small rampage. I'm sure she wanted to go back to SG strongly after her failure and capture. As for her Seanchan masquerade, she may have been successful if the big Cad didn't wear rare objects.
I'll do more reading (and resting) before responding.
