The CK were created by both male and female together then Rand used them in his own plan to cleanse the taint. Therefore women have done almost nothing here. LTT caused the taint, men and women equally created the CK and LTT reborn cleansed the taint. Basically he cleaned up his own mess... oh PS Nynaeve passively channeled the female CK.
