Hello this is my first post so bear with me, please. However, isn't it stated that the Aes'Sedai used the One Power to bore the hole in the Dark One's prison causing the end of the Age of Legends? If that is the case then mutation from nuclear holocaust is out.
AoL is second age, and current is the first Age. So it would be possible that the first age will end in Nuclear war thus radiation causing the channeler genes to develope.
