Eh? Mik Send a noteboard - 26/07/2010 05:30:20 PM
That some time after Ishy's death, Sammael took control of Carridin. Serving his new master, certainly protected Carridin in a way. After all, Carridin wasn't immediately killed in LoC or ACoS, when SH and Moridin appeared, but not until after Sammael's death. He also wasn't killed in the way SH 0.5. threatened him, namely being tortured for years at SG, but rather quickly. Besides that, SH 0.5. gave the command to kill Rand, and we know that Moridin didn't want that after he was transmigrated.
Sammaels protection was bogus! Sammael protecting an insect? Ha! Sammael could care less.

And for all we know, Carridin could have been taken to Shayol Ghul still. If Shai'tan can catch Souls/ Minds to Transmigrate, why couldn't he catch Carridins dirty Darkfriend Soul to torture for all eternity and-then-some.
Reminds me of that burned darkfriend dying in TEotW looking hapilly untill the very last second in TAR.
Reminds me of the fire in the hearth at Shayol Ghul; all those tormented faces!

Besides, it's irrelevant if the promise is kept to the letter;
When Ishamael died, the killing stopped for 2 months.
The fact remains, no matter how much you clutter it with additional stuff..
Mik ~ Ishamaels halfmad 'brother'

Death dances in my footsteps....

Your reasoning falls apart right at the start, even though there is some truth to the rest, I think. - 23/07/2010 04:22:22 PM 1191 Views
Um not quite - 25/07/2010 05:47:22 AM 1040 Views
