Sure, if you could find and AS who truly _believed_ that she was in mortal danger even when the Seanchan were not yet attacking (Egwene and other traumatised former damane AS would likely work) then this AS could attack. But I suspect there are less of these than you think. Most AS would be at a disadvantage in having to place themselves into battle situation first (or sacrifice a warder).


Ah, but they only have to find a way around 1 component of any of the Oaths, not all of them or even an 'entire' Oath. The Oath in question specifically gives an exemption for using the Power as a weapon if another Sister's life is in danger. I think that argument can be made for the Sisters already taken by the Seanchan so is justification for 'offensive/first-strike' use of the One Power as a weapon.

But that's just my interpretation of the Oaths.
