Kudos! I'm pretty sure I wasn't on this site back then, and I'm happy that someone got this idea in their heads. Double-kudos for the Rand-TP well idea. Maybe Ishy-Din has been doing this all along, hence his constant TP channeling?


So LTT's plan failed because he needed something to "touch" the DO to seal him away, and touching the DO with Saidin allowed him to taint Saidin. Well, with a physical "pool" of power that is unconnected to the actual Source itself couldn't the Lightside access and manipulate the power without endangering it? I don't know if it would read in "satisfying" way - having the same answer for cleaning Saidin *and* re-trapping the DO - but it would actually make a lot of sense.
