I'm pretty sure Callandor is a big fat red herring for that one. Rand will die; Nynaeve will have to be ripped out of Tel'aran'rhiod to finish the job; the girls will have to bond him again to save him when he's ripped out. The wording fits Elayne's description of the bonding weaves. Blade of light might be Callandor, but I'm thinking it's more likely Aviendha's dagger ter'angreal.
