Seriously, there's been a theory about Ilyena's soul being somehow divided among the three girls. personally I've always wished he would concentrate on Elayne. Min and Avi are complications that I feel are unneeded. Granted, Min has her veiwings but couldn't she just love him from a distance and keep her knees together? And Aviendha's just a pain in the butt!

Elyane is the most annoying character in the series to me, and in fact it feels like she's actually become LESS mature as it's gone on. Min has made some bad choices (she's partly to blame for Rand's missing hand imho - she should never have gone, knowing what she does about him), but at least she treats people like people and isn't completely up herself. Avi is learning a bit as well, and she never really bothered me (aside from completely failing to grasp the WO challenge in TGS which I got instantly).
