I don't know why exactly, but new research has also found that men align themselves to their partners cycles by producing more testosteron while their woman is ovulating. (because women find manly men more attractive during their ovulation and therefore are more prone to cheating.)
So I think that just might be human behavior and not female as I thought earlier.


I was thinking there might be some sort of evolutionary advantage to all the women in a group being pregnant at the same time ... like maybe if one mother dies there will still be lactating women around to feed the baby or something like that. But on the other hand, pregnant women are pretty vulnerable so having a whole herd of them all at once seems kind of like a bad idea. Dunno. It's an interesting question.
