Was it so important that she tell Egwene right away, so important that she commit suicide instead of wait until she could get her hands on the oath rod?

She's been holding back info on the Black Ajah for decades, maybe even centuries and now she can't wait 2 days for it?

There must be something UNBELIEVABLY important in the letter she gave Mat, that wouldnt give her an ounce more time to free herself. Especially ironic since the oath rod WOULD have free her from the dark oaths, as the Sitters were able to do to Talene and company.

Thoughts or ideas?
