I had almost given up hope that the series will get a high quality conclusion after the subpar books 7-11. TGS though managed not only to stop the decline, but to be way above any WoT book in recent memory in quality, as good as the top volumes in the series (TDR, TSR). It proved Sanderson is definitely up to the task of finishing the series strongly.
Thus I have much higher hopes this time.

How does your anticipation level for ToM compare with TGS?

Far less, but only because we didn't have to wait 4 years between books this time *NM*

Supposed to be pretty good, so I'm willing to give him a chance.

Mistborn is great. Give it a chance. Elantris wasn't bad for a first release, either. *NM*
