not only would it be relatively impossible to gather all of them in one place, but that'd be a LOT of gold, with the chance that they would refuse, would not give the information accurately, or would even be Darkfriends that would purposefully misinform AND inform the Dark about what Rand was saying/doing, so the Dark could then pre-emptively spread opposite news.


And then we still have the problem of why would they believe him? These people have been told for centuries that male channelers are insane and not to be trusted, and that the Dragon Reborn is the next thing to the Dark One, and only better because he's supposed to defeat the Dark One.
