Prologue: A Question on Gateways Night Walker Send a noteboard - 25/10/2010 07:33:23 PM
I should say first that I haven’t read it. Also this may have been covered in other thread that I missed but it just came to me and thought to ask everyone.

My question, how come Graendal’s Gateway weave isn’t destroyed by Rand’s Balefire? Shouldn't the weave have been wiped out, thus never opening in the first place, or do the temporal properties of Balefire only work on non-power things?

Balefire's reversal of actions taken only works on living things that can perform said actions. - 25/10/2010 09:36:46 PM 1319 Views
Agreed. I think Graendal's weave is only undone if the BF hits her, not the gateway *NM* - 25/10/2010 10:48:07 PM 476 Views

It is true. Objects do not have threads that can be affected by balefire. - 26/10/2010 01:56:48 AM 1188 Views

A weave should be destroyed - 26/10/2010 10:19:13 AM 1034 Views

That has more to do with the nature of both weaves - 26/10/2010 05:07:48 PM 983 Views
