It's unrelated to "big unnoticed thing" and the reviewer said that we have discussed it, but dismissed as something nothing we can do about. And this thing from tDR turns out to be a major plot or twist in one of the character's development.
A lot of people suggested that it's wolf thing and Perrin, something about the wolfbrother Perrin met in tDR.
