If Egwene has some mysterious knowledge against breaking the seals, then why would he not TELL that to Rand to change his mind? Fel seemed to think that breaking the seals was the right thing to do atleast, and he was always implied to be right. I wonder if Egwene could oppose the plan because the shadow does not want Rand to break the seals at the proper time. Could that be the reason why Halima/Aran'gar spent so much time around her. Subtle compulsion maybe? We know from the prologue that Aran'gar knows it. We also know that the shadow sent a GHOLAM to kill Herid Fel to keep him quiet. Why would they NOT try to stop Rand now that he is planning on doing what Fel wanted.



Nynaeve is a super-healer. I am starting to get worried if she might be just a bit TOO super in the way she is coming up with these incredible feats that not even the AoLers could do, and on the whole the AoLers did know much more about the OP. Unless the reason the taint can now be healed is because the constant flow of new taint from Saidin has stopped. That would explain Ishamaels comments in EotW. The ancient AS might have known how to heal someone from the taint, but they would quickly go insane again when they absorbed more taint from saidin.



Say what?! Rand&lots of Asha'man&lots of AS were barely able to hold back 100k trollocs, and now Elayne who is MUCH weaker/less skilled than even Rand alone and barely able to channel thanks to her pregnancy supposedly kills a million single-handedly? WTF? This sounds insane.

For that matter, how the heck could Trollocs get to Caemlyn? They cannot travel and Rand has sealed the waygate? Do the forsaken break his weaves/guards? But if they can do that, then this pretty much makes all the effort Rand took to protect the waygates utterly meaningless.



I must confess that some of the stuff here worries me a bit.
