Rand goes to her and apologizes. He lifts her exile, and takes her on as his adviser again. But he asks her not to call him a boy, since based in his memories, he is older than her. He asks her to call him Rand Sedai, which she does, apparently. She's supporting him and working with him. Which is great!


Bahahaha! How does she react to that! I can just imagine it. :) Still, it is quite cool that she does call her Rand Sedai. That is indeed great! I am not exactly a fan of Cadsuane but maybe this book will convert me.


What I want to know is... if Egwene is calling in Nynaeve... why not Cadsuane as well? The woman can be of great use teaching the AS to fight, which they almost certainly need.


Maybe Egwene does, but do you really think Cadsuane would obey? Especially if Rand has actually given her the position as adviser back. What exactly could Egwene do to punish her? She is about to die from old age soon and could likely not care less about some girl Amyrlin (from her POV).

Nynaeves position is likely a lot more difficult however since most AS don't view her as real AS, and even her semi-AS status she got only due to to Egwene herself. She also lacks the age/status of Cadsuane in the tower.
