If rand didnt know before this book that she was preggy with his children then he still doesnt know. (he didnt find out in this book)

Rand didnt kill any trollocs in Caemlyn.

The book ended with the trollocs invading caemlyn. Elayne was out of the city at the time with ALL of her forces. the city was completely unprotected. We actually dont see the trollocs in the city but olver sees the city burning from the distance. There ARE TONS of mercanaries about the city of caemlyn though. elayne never hired them but they were waiting and waiting and waiting with some hope that she would. She delayed expecting to use them in the future but not wanting to pay them yet. I wonder if they'll play a part in the caemlyn conflict?


About the trollocs that rand killed:
Rand killed them on the border where Ilturalde was fighting. Ilturalde held a great army of trollocs off for a week or more. They had a great defensive position on the top of a hill. the trollocs had to cross a river to get to them. They were eventually pushed down the hill and into a city. The city fell quickly due to some channelors on the side of the trollocs blasting a hole in the wall of the city. Ilturalde had a leg broken. then healed. the weave that cleanses your tiredness but allows you to work yourself to death was place on him by an asha'man at his approval.

Ilturalde was reduced to fighting in the streets of the maradon or however it was spelled (this is the new map in the book by the way) He deployed tactics such as the russians used against germans in World War II when germans were invading russia. He was about to kill over from working himself so hard when rand showed up with troups. They scattered the trollocs out of the city and fought them back to the hill. Bashere wanted to abandon the city to the trollocs but Rand said "screw that. these men fought so hard to keep the trollocs from getting past this point. we're not going to allow that to happen... to honor them. " he then walked out onto the battle field and then killed every shadowspawn creature.
