Notice the number of people who think Egwene was irrational to oppose Rand's plan to break the seals? They probably blanked out the dream she had, and the significance of its arrival just as Rand entered Tar Valon.
Maybe she could have told him about her dream, when telling him not to? Since she didn't tell him about it, her dream doesn't matter: a warning too late is no warning at all. Hence, why should Rand change his plan?
Want to slap Egwene *minor spoliers*

It's Nynaeve's choice. As Egwene said, anyone who wants to call themselves Aes Sedai must swear. *NM*

Did she -in all her grandness and wisdom- mention that Dream to Rand?

Funny how Eggy -in Fionwe's own words- 'blanked' out her own Dream then!
