This was my first take of the future for the Aiel.
They served the Aes Sedai. They were the original "Tinkers".
Their way is not of the sword (or spear), but of the absolution of violence.
My second thought was that this represented an area that RJ had once referenced as being either (a) unanswered or (b) casting a pall on a 'happy' ending of the series (or (c) both).
