That doesn’t actually invalidates my point alex Send a noteboard - 13/11/2010 10:20:13 PM

After having that massive epiphany on DM (with sky opening no less) he’s going to solve his problem of organizing subcontinent to fight Shadow by… passing that job to Egwene and WT? That makes no sense - he already (when speaks with Egwene) has behind him majority of those gathered at the end of ToM and later goes to Borderland rulers and they join him, which leaves only Tower and Andor. So what reason does he have to want that Tower reprise its role of central political power especially when Egwene is planning to use it to prevent him from doing what he stated as necessary? It would only put Tower in position to meddle with his subordinates while he is busy stopping Trolloc advancing armies on north and possible Seanchan incursions on south. And how is answering call of White Tower to a meeting dedicated to convincing Dragon Reborn not to break seals more of rising up, taking responsibilities and leading world again than say, answering call of Dragon Reborn to a meeting dedicated to discussing and coordinating strategies to combat Shadow?

You stated that Rand have better things to do with his resources than herding armies and the leaders but that would mean either that its of really low priority to him (and you argue the opposite) or that his resources are really strained (because transporting rulers with their entourages would require only single messenger capable of Traveling, and regarding armies only through WO he has several times more chanelars than Tower so he can move masses of people even easier than Egwene). So I will ask you: where are his resources engaged? I know that he’s been fighting at Maradon and that his been back in Arad Doman. Are there any other places he send his chanelers to? I would also like to ask you why he doesn’t ask Tower for help if he’s so stretched – all those green sisters would come quite handy to Ituralde when facing Trolocs at Maradon, not to mention that it is kind off their whole point.
