A revelation, you have now given the explanation as to why he never became the Tamrylin and went to the Shadow, though he was (almost) as good as LTT.
That raises another question, once he went to the Shadow, would the DO have accepted someone in such a condition? Wouldnt the DO have modified Demandred to be fully one or the other?
And why do I get the feeling we are moving into dangerous territory?
Isn't everyone in WoT re-born?
