Whatever your views on Egwnene, this is hardly proof of anything. While she certainly cannot lie, and is speaking truly that the Tower needs to stop trying to control everything if it wants to be a relevant power in the new dynamics being set up, that doesn't say anything about her personal aims or what kind of leadership role she sees the tower playing.
What should really prove that Egwene isn't power hungry is something completely different, and has been gone over before.
