It's so she can help Rand to make the future better when he makes the "Dragon's Peace." Though, the future could just been good in the first place instead of putting us through the bad future
As for Lanfear, I think it's supposed to be a trick for Rand. As late as WH she herself hates him in her PoV and wants to kill him. A couple books later Moridin won't let him near Rand, because he's afraid she'll kill him. She could have changed her mind since WH and Moridin just doesn't know it, but I doubt it.
Anyway, since Moridin and Rand are connected, and Rand entered Moridin's dream in TGS, it's possible Moridin set the whole thing up for Rand to see.
