I hope Graendal arranged for a suitable punishment before she got her own; it looks as if the Dark One and Shaidar Haran punish failings among the Chosen, but the Chosen punish the Dark Ones in their employ. If I was Graendal, I would have definitely made sure Slayer got slapped down, especially with that look he gave her when reporting his defeat.
