Many revolutions in history has been done by younger people, especially when the older ones were ruling with very conservative, static and possibly stupid attitudes.

The more a government is stagnant and fossilised, the more likely it is to be overthrown by something completely different. That's the strength of the youths: they don't beat the older ones with their same weapons, they change perspective and do something new, collapsing them.
Sure, but Egwene isn't bringing about a cultural change in the White Tower; quite the contrary, she's adopted Aes Sedai culture herself wholesale. Her entire character has been about uncritically taking on the perspective of whatever group she affiliates herself with–when she's a novice, she wants to be the best novice she can be; when a Wise One apprentice, the best; when a rebel Aes Sedai, the best rebel; when an Amyrlin, the best Amyrlin, where 'best' means strongest in the most conservative way.

The last "completely different" vision of hers which was a success was the opening of the novice book. Following that, she presented her plan about the Oath Rod and was shot down by Romanda and Lelaine, later coming to accept that they were right and she was wrong.
