Damane don't need to have children to keep the channeling gene alive, sul'dam can also pass the abililty along.


then why does the White Tower notices that the number of Aes Sedai is decreasing year after year?

the Aes Sedai make few children --- the damane very likely make much less
the male channelers are hunt and gentled (and eventually they die) in the Wetlends --- they are hunted and killed straight away on Seanchan

So, again, while what you say should make sense, it actually contradicts what happened in the books. If the number of channelers decreases in the Wetlends, for the very same reasons it should decrease even more on Seanchan.
