When IS the last time we really lost a big time player in the story? Whoa. I guess it would be Moiraine wouldn't it? And she's not even dead! The only other deaths of good characters who get more than a passing mention are Ingtar and Noal's deaths. And they aren't even that important! Either the next book is going to be a bloodbath or I've had a serious memory lapse. Too few good people have died, that much is certain. Not that I want them to, but damn! Poor Hopper had to pay the price for all these other non-deaths.

I wonder if I could persuade the Dark One to give Hopper back in exchange for an Egwene/Gawyn combo? Hehehe.
