Seems like the fact that they're presumably living hundreds of years would be a put-off to potential husbands, but this issue is never really addressed in the books that I recall. I don't see why sul'dam /wouldn't/ live super-long lives like all the others who can channel.

Either way, that could potentially increase or decrease the channelling genes in the gene pool. Increase if they're living super long lives and having a commensurate number of children, or decrease if their longevity drives away potential mates.
