Don't hate me because I dislike the hobbit! (didn't say I HATED it. just didn't think it was all that and a wheel of cheese too!)
Hehe I was only kidding really.

It was pendantic, plodding and just plain uninteresting to me. Least Lord of the Rings was exciting WORLD Changing stuff that defined a new genre. The Hobbit was just.... meh in comparison to that.
Fair enough. I like to think of The Hobbit as The Lord of the Ring's little brother, even though it is in fact the older book. But they are very different books, it's true. I love them both though.
Least for me.
