I always thought that Robert Jordan's writing lacked something that Brandon Sanderson gets a lot closer to. I think Sanderson's style, while certainly different, complements Jordan's pretty well. The books are moving faster now. BS had to have something to do with that.

Also, why did you mention WH with CoT? I thought the former was much better than the latter- they don't belong in the same category!
