As far as Nynaeve goes, I can understand why they made her take the Oaths, although I don't agree. I agree with Watcher that it was really the test she shouldn't have had to take. Franky, I find it kind of a useless test to begin with.
Or at least her reaction to the aftermath ... I loved that she told them to stick a sock in AS Calm in that scene
