What is with all these spoiler warnings lately? This isn't an amazon review, it's a dedicated board for obsessive nitpicking WoT nerds. I doubt if there's a single person here who hasn't read ToM by now. Twice. Three times. And warning for EoTW? The book's been out for twenty years!

But re the question, I've always tended to ignore inexplicable things in EoTW. I get the impression Jordan hadn't really firmed up the rules of his world when he was writing it. Maybe it was the Creator. But you never know; perhaps it was some little detail he planned from the beginning and we'll only find out at the end of AMoL.
