Don't think of use as Egwene haters... Lord Haart Send a noteboard - 19/12/2010 04:32:11 AM
We just want what's best for Randland, not for an archaic organization of enfeebled lemmings whose pathetic bickering and maneuvering represents a slap in the face of gargantuan proportions to every other character in Randland who is actually trying to get things done.

I don't even particularly dislike Egwene's decision making - what I dislike is her mentality and her inability to see beyond herself. If the tower was any less grossly incompetent than it is, I would be a little more sympathetic of the importance she places upon it, but right now she needs to have a little humility and realize that while she's done about as well in the Tower as can be expected, the simple fact is that the Tower is the weakest group of channelers in Randland except for the Kin - and even the Kin generally have more battle experience and wisdom than the average AS. The Wise Ones and Windfinders have some issues but because they are actually integrated into their respective societies, they are free from the AS Ivory Tower attitude. The Asha'man and damane are several levels above that.

It seems an odd oversight, yes; I can't even recall her being Delved when the truth was revealed. - 29/12/2010 12:40:00 PM 1208 Views

Good point, too. - 30/12/2010 03:17:06 PM 1118 Views
