Setalle was the most recent person we've heard describing what it's like to be cut off from the source, and she put it in terms of food. I like your idea, but I'd buy it more easily if RJ/Bsand had put in more reinforcement. I mean, we'd all like to think that they'd use that kind of opportunity to forshadow Rand's severing as a kind of death.
