Only problem is that logically it is risky, the DO is god. Killing Rand might just free him DrJacJacMcScrumptious Send a noteboard - 05/01/2011 02:27:57 PM
It was pretty much established already back in TSR that the Dark One IS The True Source. It has also been stated by Cadsuane that Callandor lacks a buffer that would prevent a user from drawing in more of the one power than the channeler could safely handle. So maybe it can also be used when seizing the True Power? To draw in ALL of it. ALL of HIM.

This is cool and might make sense. After he does that, then Alivia might help him die (so killing the DO that is inside him).
And the answer came to her instantly: pride. Oh, you hear them say it's a sin; you hear them say it goes before a fall. the shepherd prides himself on keeping the wolf out from the flock. We pride ourselves on making a good history of our lives, a good story to be told.

And unless it can be justified that this won't occur, that risk is a pretty huge problem - 05/01/2011 02:29:46 PM 621 Views
