Perrin's life experiences have been pretty incredibly different from Rand and Mat. Being a blacksmith isn't easy work, you know.
Nowhere in the books is it stated that Perrin is old looking. You'd think Egwene would have commented on that in TAR, or Mat in Caemlyn. Or Thom, comparing how different in age Mat and Perrin look. None of that happens.
This might be the best e-book cover of the series

It's very good, but Perrin looks much older than he is. *NM*

KoD's ebook cover is the best imo, followed by tSR & tFoH. Komarck is an extraordinary artist. *NM*

It's pretty good, but don't use think there were better scenes in this book?

I guess I connected the forging with Hoppers death more closely than you. *NM*

I'm not that impressed with it; it looks OK, but that image contains none of the drama in the scene

+1, it's just the shadows from the fire which give the appearance of age *NM*
