And if Egwene didn't think Elaida would talk to her, she could easily appear as someone who Elaida would talk to...
I mean, Egwene regularly used TaR to communicate while she was captured and couldn't talk. Adam don't prevent TaR, right?
Actually, it would have added a nice thread to Egwene's character. She does something hard-core to make the good guys stronger, but it's also the sort of thing that Moggy and Graendal would do.
It would even provide great validation for everyone who thinks she's controlling to a Stalinist-ic degree...
