by immediately resorting to balefire she doesn't have to worry about Asmo defending himself. Balefire also explains his reaction, he senses it coming, just as Be'lal does back in tDR.



Wait, how does he sense that? Assuming she didnt invert her weaves so he couldnt sense her channeling how does he know it's balefire?


Also, was it ever established 100% that it was balefire? Just because the DO didnt reincarnate him doesnt definitely mean balefire, after all he agreed to serve the DR.
