edit: also, during the cleansing of the source, there is a Demandred POV where he fights Damer Flinn who is linked with some Aes Sedai. he does not recognize Damer, not even realizing he was an Asha'man. Flinn was the very first guy that Taim tested, one also responsible for discovering fancy healing weaves. It's extremely improbably that Deamandred would fail to remember him. let alone identify an Asha'man outfit right away.
