First: The test was the Egwene of tDR, not the Egwene of post-Knife of Dreams. The current Egwene is quite different, for good or for ill. One, small example: Egwene in tSR couldn't imagine any excuse for Rand starting a war. Now she leads one. I'm not condemning or condoning, just saying that she's changed a lot since the test.

Second: The Accepted test is not "real." The world may be familiar, but it has less reality than even dreamworld does. Nor is is it the Wise One rings, which give you true glimpses of possible futures.

Third: How did Egwene choose Rand over the Tower? If I remember correctly, didn't she leave the third test as Rand was about to be gentled by the Black Ajah?




I'm attaching an interesting article talking about Egwene's Accepted test. It basically points out that many factual details from the third test seem to be semi-accurate, but not the way in which they happen.
