Rand keeps talking about how he means Elayne to claim the Cairheinian throne- to the point where it almost seems certain that WON'T happen. In a story, plans succeed inversely to how many times they're told to the reader.
So, if the protagonist smiles, and goes "I have a plan," and the next scene is the plan in progress. It will work.
If they go over the plan once... it may work.
Anything more than once, something is going to go wrong. Maybe just a small crisis, but if you spend 6 books talking about how you have this great plan for Cairhein's throne, odds are it's not going to happen.

I amuse myself.
If Moiraine comes back, what would be her role?

I've been saying for a while that death was the best thing for her reputation.

I think she'll soften relations between Rand & Egwene (and a bunch of other cool stuff) *NM*
