but also because Tuon was able to wear a bracelet on each wrist. How can someone be part of two different links at once?
Since we aree that this is not a Link but some kind of distant parent (or not related at all), I see no problem with that ^^
There was some speculation that the 'channeling-through' ability was either not widely known or not widely practised by sul'dam, perhaps because it brought the sul'dam closer to actually channeling themselves. Some thought it was a secret known only to the Imperial Family. I'm more inclined to think that they would train damane even if they didn't technically have to because a fighter with hundreds of years of experience is better than a fighter with single/tens of years. It's more efficient to teach the damane the weaves than to keep having to teach new generations of sul'dam.
I'm not convinced: I think the danger outweighs the profit here. If we really want to find an explanation, we probably should explore into the direction of "it is too similar to channelling itself, so I don't want to do it or I'd be too much more like a damane"; still, doesn't work since Tuon herself does it without any sign she's troubled by that...
Or, you know, maybe RJ just flaked and didn't think that scene through properly.
I think you are right here. After all, errors happen, and it would not be the only one, so I'd just ignore the scene - or at least its troubling parts - and go on ^^

How come every Forsaken wasn’t loaded with angreal when they were sealed in the Bore?
