Then again, RJ dated two women at once who were completely fine with that arrangement; I haven't necessarily tried this, but I haven't exactly found two women that I think would agree to that. Those were some progressive ladies...

I remember hearing that when he brought it up at book signings Harriet got slightly annoyed ;). It was when he was young. I don't think they got married until their 40s, but I could be wrong. I know Harriet has a son from a previous marriage.

He mentioned it whenever someone asked him why Rand needed 3 ladies. He always said that he had 2 at once, so the savior of the world should be able to pull off 3.
