Egwene realizing she's manipulating Rand as much as the other women, but deciding it's okay because she's "right?" THAT hasn't come back to bite her in the ass yet, and I doubt it will.


I think that has less to do with the fact that it's a woman and more with the fact that it's Egwene. Nothing will ever come back to bite Egwene in the arse.

Faile holding Perrin to cultural standards he can't possibly measure up to because he doesn't know them? Perrin must adjust.


To be fair Perrin also assumed his cultural standards would be the norm and never made any effort to understand why it wasn't working until Elyas spelled it out for him, even though his in-laws gave him a good suggestion of it. And Faile has made efforts to adapt as well.
The first rule of being a ninja is "do no harm". Unless you intend to do harm, then do lots of harm.
